Privacy Policy

What we collect, what we do with it, and what we never do.

Maison Initiative, PBC. Effective October 3, 2026.

Who we are

Maison Initiative, PBC is a Delaware public benefit corporation. This policy covers maisoniam.com and Maison, the assistant we operate. Questions go to hello@maisoniam.com.

What we collect on this website

  • Waiting list. Your first and last name, email address, what you are interested in, and, for Institute applicants, what you are building.
  • Conversations with Maison on this site. What you type or say, including your name, email, city and state, and what you tell us about your company. If you speak, your recording is transcribed to text. If you upload files, we store them.
  • Email. Whatever you send us.
  • Cookies. We set a cookie only to keep a passphrase-protected page unlocked. Your browser also keeps a conversation in progress, and your place in an audio recording, on your own device. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
  • Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request details such as IP address and browser type.

Connecting your Google account to Maison

If you use Maison and choose to connect your Google account, you decide which of these to turn on, each separately:

  • Mail, read and search. Maison can read and search your Gmail messages to answer your requests. It cannot send, draft, delete, or change mail in your account.
  • Calendar, view. Maison can see your calendars and events.
  • Calendar, add events. Maison can create events on your calendar. It does not invite guests.

How we handle that data:

  • It is used only to do what you ask, for you.
  • It is read on the Maison computer that serves you. The parts needed to answer you are sent to the AI model provider that powers your Maison to produce the reply.
  • Mail and calendar content is not saved into Maison's long-term memory, is not shared with other people on the same Maison, and is not sent to other Maison computers.
  • Your Google sign-in is stored encrypted on that computer.
  • We keep a record of each time Maison uses your connection (what kind of request and when), never the content.
  • We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. Our people do not read it unless you ask us to for support, or the law requires it.

Maison's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Turning it off

You can turn any switch off at any time in Settings, Integrations, and Maison stops using that permission immediately. Disconnect removes your stored sign-in and asks Google to revoke access. You can also remove access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

How we use what we collect

To reply to you, review applications, run the waiting list, provide Maison, and keep the service secure. We do not sell personal information.

Who processes it for us

We use service providers for website hosting, file storage, our database, voice transcription, email, and AI models. They may use what they handle only to provide their service to us.

How long we keep it

Waiting list and application records: until you ask us to remove them or we no longer need them. Google sign-in: until you disconnect or your account is deleted.
