What it needs, and what installing looks like.

What your Mac needs

  • A Mac with Apple silicon, M2 or later
  • 16 GB of memory (24 GB or more lets it keep more in mind)
  • macOS 13 Ventura or later
  • About 25 GB of free space

The installer checks all of these first, and says plainly if a Mac can't run it.

Installing

Open the download, drag Maison to Applications, open it: a setup window walks you through the rest. No Terminal.

The installer is a signed, notarized Mac app.

You bring your own Claude account

Maison runs on Claude. During setup you sign in with your own Claude subscription, billed to you by Anthropic, never through us.

What it costs

Maison on your own Mac is free today. Hosted, where we run it for you, is coming soon.
